About Me

I am an avian field technician with a B.A. in ecology & evolutionary biology from the University of Connecticut. I spent my college summers trail-running throughout the hilly swamps of Old Lyme, CT and helping out with local conservation work, and am now a seasonal avian field technician. I aim to continue my education in graduate school studying migratory behavior of aerial insectivores and work towards better understanding at-risk migratory species in order to better protect their vulnerable populations. Throughout my travels, I do my best to document the beauty of nature that many of us want to protect. I hope to continue spending my days learning about the fundamentals of ecological methods while attempting to capture the encapsulating beauty of nature within a frame.
